Eggert Construction LLC is a Design / Build contractor working in the Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) marketplace. We also provide all services related to wood frame building and find that when we apply a balance between the two disciplines we provide a better home far beyond the expectations of the past.

ICFs fulfill the framing requirements for both new construction and remodeling, such as additions, garages, and retaining walls while also providing the extra benefits of insulation all in one step. We work closely with our clients, both homeowners and builders, so that appropriate selections are made early in the process to achieve ICF benefits within a budget. We discuss variations in product selections so an informed decision can be made to incorporate all the necessary components to complete your project.

There are some products whose performance we do not consider practical or beneficial for today’s building practices and will urge the client to review their reasons for wanting to use them, however, the final choice remains the clients’. Our efforts are intended to assemble all the parts of the construction puzzle upfront so the final project achieves what the client desires; a better built home with safety, value, energy savings and distinctive character. We will work with all manufacturers’ products associated with ICF technology.

Your building package can be anything you desire within your budget. ICF homes are not less expensive than wood framed homes in the beginning; where they shine is the long-term energy savings and comfort that continues for as long as you own the home. ICF homes are quickly becoming known for their energy savings, quietness, safety and security far in excess of wood framed structures, even those with brick and stone veneers.

Please review our document called “The Process” which provides you with information regarding building new or remodeling. We not only design and build, but we also train other contractors in working with ICFs so you can incorporate this technology into your already designed home. We can work with an owner’s existing plans in which they may have already invested time and money. These plans still need to be reviewed as to the viability of using ICFs, but that is mainly to verify any structural issues that may need specific attention or engineering.

Other services available include HVAC calculations to offset equipment over sizing common with those unfamiliar with Thermal Mass, ICFs and their relationship to each other; decorating services; site analysis before and after purchase; and forensic investigation of existing problems.
